Sprints and releases without starting a new project.
Available on Starter and above.
A version is a scoped slice of a project — a sprint, a release, a phase — without the overhead of a separate project. Members, roles, integrations and settings all stay put.
How it works
The version switcher sits at the top of the sidebar under the project picker. What you are viewing scopes the board, the timeline and the reports to that version.
New and ingested tasks default into the project's current version, so nothing needs filing by hand.
Rolling over
When a sprint ends, create the next version and import the unfinished tasks from the previous one. Nalaras shows you what is importable rather than making you find it — completed work is excluded by default, with a toggle to include it.
Reporting
Because reports are version-scoped, "what we did this sprint" is a report over that version rather than a date range you have to remember to get right.
